The climate tech sector is exploding.
With so much opportunity ahead, the industry is calling out for talented people with passion and drive to solve the world’s most complex challenges. To propel the climate tech sector forward, the biggest force multiplier will be access to a surge of exceptional talent.
People from Australia and New Zealand are definitely not lacking the breadth of skills to contribute, passion for climate, or a willingness to take the leap. In fact, Aussies and Kiwis from a range of industries are longing to actively solve the climate crisis and shift their careers to have greater impact.
But no clear pathway currently exists to turn this passion into action. How do we advance from caring deeply about the climate crisis to actively working to solve it?
The Climate Tech Fellowship exists to bridge this gap by equipping you with the knowledge, network and confidence to help you transition and thrive in the rapidly-growing climate tech sector.
The Fellowship is open to individuals from all backgrounds and disciplines, including engineering, corporates, academia, research, big tech, policy, students and more. The most important thing we are looking for is a deep passion for climate action and a strong commitment to leveraging your skillset to make a difference.
The cohort size will be limited to 150 and is for people who intend to work in Australia or New Zealand in the near future (i.e. within the next 6-12 months).
The program fee is $1,650 including GST. Startmate offers full and half scholarships for the program in special circumstances. Read more about our scholarships here.
The fee will be invoiced after program acceptance and can be paid upfront or via 4 fortnightly instalments.
The 8 week program will be an intense learning and networking experience. To make the most out of the program, we recommend setting aside 4-5 hours per week to fully engage with the content and community. You’ll get out what you put in!
