Everything you need to know about Demo Day – what it is, tickets and how to pitch at the next one.
Demo Day is the graduation night for each Startmate Accelerator cohort. Every founder pitches live to a room full of investors, operators and the wider ANZ startup community – it's the best way to see the next wave of great companies in one night.
The next Demo Day is Thursday 6 May 2027 in Sydney, when the Summer '27 cohort pitches. We'll announce the venue, times and tickets closer to the date.
Every Demo Day runs to a strict start. Check-in closes shortly before pitches begin and late arrivals can't be let in – so give yourself plenty of time to get there.
Winter '26 tickets were $25–$35 depending on the release, and every Demo Day sells out in advance. We'll announce Summer '27 pricing with the venue.
Yes – you can buy several tickets in one Luma checkout. Each guest needs their own ticket and has to check in before the cut-off, so make sure everyone's names are on the booking.
Anyone backing, building or curious about ANZ startups – founders who want to see what great looks like, investors looking for their next deal, and operators thinking about joining an early-stage team. It's an 18+ event.
Yes – the full night goes up on our YouTube channel afterwards. But nothing beats being in the room.
