Entry into all Startmate programs comes at a cost, but we balance this with a strong focus on accessibility through the Startmate Scholarship Fund. That’s how 30% of our program spots are reserved for participants on community-funded scholarships, sponsored by the likes of Tattarang, Minderoo and Canva in the past. As a sponsor, you’ll help aspiring founders – students, women and others from underserved backgrounds – take their next step and contribute to the future of the startup ecosystem.

STARTMATE ACCESS FUND

Every Startmate program costs the participant money.

We’ve learned that it is crucial for participants to have skin in the game. It increases their commitment. It increases their likelihood of success.

That said - we never want any of our programs to be inaccessible because of the cost.

Hence why,we always aim to reserve 30% of our program spots for participants who receive scholarships. These scholarships are funded by our community.

Scholarships have been provided by the likes of Tattarang, Minderoo, Canva and private individuals.
