Buying a home is meant to be exciting.

But for many, it’s stressful, confusing, and well, pretty overwhelming.

That’s where
Slice comes in.

In a world where homeownership is increasingly out of reach for many, Slice is redefining the property buying experience. Founded by Amy Stevens, a former lawyer and financial adviser, Slice is a platform that automates the home buying process, helping buyers, brokers, and lawyers work together.

As one of the sixteen companies part of the Startmate Summer’25 Accelerator cohort,  Slice is on a mission to simplify homeownership, leveraging AI and thoughtful design. Its all-in-one platform guides buyers through every step of the journey - offering clarity, confidence, and trusted support along the way. At the same time, it makes collaboration with brokers and lawyers easier and more efficient.

Amy’s
personal experience of struggling to buy her own first home, combined with her background in law and banking, inspired the creation of Slice. After years of working in the industry, it became clear that the existing solutions just weren’t cutting it.

Since the start of 2025, Slice has seen rapid growth, doubling its user base and revenue. Despite challenging market conditions, the platform has proven its resilience and the demand for its innovative solution.

Slice
isn’t just simplifying homeownership - it's changing the way people buy property.
