In this spotlight series we are introducing the courageous, clever and powerful women in our Ladymates community.

To better understand the journeys of our Ladymates, we reached out to hear their reflections on pivotal moments, their unique strengths, and the goals that drive them forward.

So, let us introduce Mona, founder of JurisTechne!

Tell us a little bit about your career so far…

I'm a Mompreneur, Philanthropist, Student, Researcher, and Data Interpreter.

What is your #1 professional superpower?

Providing a safe, supportive and empowering working environment.

What is the #1 area you'd like to grow in professionally?

Communicating clearly and concisely

Song you're listening to on repeat at the moment?

3 Daqat - Abu, Yousra

What’s a quote you live by?

There's a few:

1. There's a solution for every problem

2. We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.

3. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Outside of work, what do you love to do?

Spend time with my children 💙💙🩷💙

Why did you join Ladymates Collective?

Being a mompreneur can be lonely and it's hard to find other women in tech to meet and build a community with. I've been looking for my village of females in tech for years!!

What's been your favourite part of Ladymates Collective thus far?

I found my tribe ♥️ I'm so honoured to meet some of the smartest and inspirational women in tech. It's a safe place to discuss experiences and ask for advice. I've upskilled since joining, especially in some Chief of staff skills. Ladymates/ Startmates is really a no BS environment and community that put their money where their mouth is and invest and support women like me in business. It's been an absolute relief being here. It's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

What does "Ladymates" mean to you?

My tribe. My inspiration. My safe place.
