Meet Fluency: The Ops Engine That Turns Chaos into Clarity

While sales, support, and engineering teams all have real-time visibility tools, ops teams are left without a system to understand what's happening, when, or how.

Operations is one of the few business functions still operating in the dark. While sales, support, and engineering teams all have real-time visibility tools, ops teams are left without a system to understand what's happening, when, or how.

Fluency
, one of the 16 startups in the Summer’25 Accelerator is changing that.

Fluency
transforms complex process documentation writing from a 4-6 hour manual burden into a 5-minute task with AI, helping enterprises avoid efficiency losses and costly compliance penalties.

The Fluency platform is the first of its kind - a real-time process observation engine. It automatically captures how work is done across a business and turns it into contextualised SOPs. Then, using a live pattern-matching engine, built on the same algorithm used to map the human genome, Fluency identifies when those processes are actually happening.

This means businesses can finally see how operational workflows really run: who’s doing them, how often, and what “best” actually looks like.

Co-founders Finnlay Morcombe and Oliver Farnill, self-taught engineers and long-time mates, started building Fluency after a stint writing SOPs during a system implementation project. Now, in just eight months, Fluency is being adopted by companies like AON, Specsavers, and Prime Financial. Their real-time engine is working in production, and the team is gearing up for a US expansion.

With a few early wins under their belt and a big vision to make operations a high-leverage, data-driven function -they’re not just documenting processes.

They’re reimagining how work gets done.
