My first job was in an ice cream shop where I worked throughout high school. One of my biggest learnings was how to calmly bring order to chaos. Summer nights on the Mornington Peninsula with mega ice cream hungry lines. A methodical approach to customer service, replenishing stock and cleaning was needed, whilst maintaining a good customer experience. I couldn't have asked for a better first job.
